We have a sister Troop in England! Gary and son Carson L. keep
in touch with a couple of the UK scout leaders that they met while there
and
especially
the Scout
Group leaders that he and his son joined.
They have a link here on their web site about what Carson and Gary are
doing here in the US.
The ages are divided a little different there as well as including girls.
The Scout Groups are ages 10-14 and the Explorer Scout Units are 14-18.

What a busy summer from Troop 736! We had two units go to Quivira
Scout Ranch during two different weeks in June. We had two different crews
go to Philmont
Scout Ranch in New Mexico hiking up to 80 miles. We had one unit go to Camp
Alexander located in Colorado. We had one unit go to Northern
Tier located in
Ely, Minnesota
in
which
they treked
in canoes on up to Canada.
To say we have been busy this past summer is really an understatement. We continue
to have more adventures planned with trips to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico
during
the
winter
to
participate
in Kanik as
well as the live aboard program on the USS
Lexington located in Corpus Christi, Texas.
